Skepplanda - Lödöse, Pilgrimsleden Göta Älv, etapp 6

Traveling past the old royal farm is an old tradition. The old main road ran along the eastern side of the river valley past the royal farm. Along with several other hollow roads, it ran like many old roads on the crest of the ridge where it was dry. There is also much to suggest that Alvhem's kungsgård was the most powerful and prominent farm in the whole of the river valley and southern Bohuslän long ago.
