Vandring Marma till Älvkarleby

When: Saturday, September 12, 10:15 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Where: Meet at the parking lot by the swimming area in
Marma.

Bus stop/train station: Marma Station, 500 m from the meeting place.

Join us for a
hike from Marma to Älvkarleby. The hike starts in Marma, at
the parking lot next to Marmafjärden, and ends at Laxön. The hike up toward
Älvkarleby mostly follows easy-to-walk sandy terrain, past a nature reserve
and largely along forest trails beside the Dalälven River. We continue to follow
the Dalälven River, and upon arriving in Älvkarleby, we cross bridges to reach Laxön. Bring a snack
for two breaks.

The hike is 14 km in total and
is rated “moderate” in difficulty.
