Description
ALSIKE CHURCH
Alsike Church was built in the second half of the 13th century in brick, probably inspired by St. Mary's Church in Sigtuna. It was given a tower in gray stone and brick in the 15th century and cross arms in 1860 and vault paintings by Filip Månsson in 1911. In Alsike old church school is the Protestant convent of the Helgeand sisters.
