Description

The Vickelsjön nature reserve consists of pine forests on exposed bedrock, swamps and several small marshes. A long list of rare and endangered species live in the area, including a pink shelf fungus and the three-toed woodpecker.

There are no marked trails, so you'll get to discover the reserve on your own. Take your pick of the many paths that lead you through forest marshes, past old trees draped with hanging lichens. There are no visitor facilities in the reserve.
