Filborna skogspark

Filborna Forest Park with Children's Forest is a nature and park area in the eastern parts of Helsingborg. There are varied nature experiences and good opportunities for recreation, play and outdoor life.

A large number of walking paths and trails make it possible to move around the area throughout the year. You can follow the changing seasons, with the first flowers of spring, the rich greenery of summer and the colors of autumn in orange and red. A shelter with a barbecue area is located in the southern part of the area, towards Filbornavägen. There are also logs and stones laid out in a path that is excellent for the smaller children to walk on and climb on. In the adjacent tree plantations, it is free to build huts.

The unique thing about Filborna Forest Park is that you encounter different types of environments within a fairly small area. In the western part of the area, which is more park-like, you will find various herbs and perennials that bloom for much of the year - from scilla and narcissus in the spring to silver saxifrage in the autumn. There are also many different shrubs and trees such as witch hazel, magnolias and rhododendrons. The area also includes the Filborna Tree Arboretum, which will be the most exclusive new part of the area, with trees from different parts of the world, not least from China, Korea and Japan. In the eastern part of the area, on the other side of the large newly built pond, Silvervattnet, is Swedish nature with our native plant varieties. Here you can walk through a varied landscape of forest, open glades, flower meadows and pastures with sheep in summer.

For those who want more nature, the Bruce forest nature area is a stone's throw away and is reached through the pedestrian tunnel under road 111.
