Isborgen

An ice and event arena that opened in 2020. It is an important meeting place for sports, culture and major events. The building is primarily adapted for ice activities such as ice hockey, figure skating and curling, but is designed with great flexibility. The ice surface can be covered with a special floor so that the arena can also be used for concerts, fairs, galas and other events all year round.

In the entrance, there is a large artwork by Peter Johansson, one of Sweden's most noted contemporary artists. It consists of five rotating sculptures (figurines) that depict practitioners of various ice sports. They are colourful and inspired by older toy figures, which gives them a playful character.
