Description
This tower is the only observation tower in Kronoberg County, and was built between 1958 and 60. It is 25 metres tall, and its top level is 258 metre above sea level, and offers a magnificent view. If the weather is good, you can see ten church steeples from here: Tolg, Asa, Tjureda, Söraby, Gårdsby, Berg, Ormesberga, Hornaryd, Nottebäck, as well as Växjö Cathedral. The tower is open for visitors on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from noon to 6 p.m. from May to August. In the month of July, there are additional open hours on working days between 1 and 4 p.m. The admission fee for an adult is SEK 20, children younger than 10 are free.
