Description

The museum, which was the Törås metal foundry, is located in the southern part of the Törå area in Anderstorp. The founder was Aron Josefsson, who moved here with his family at the turn of the century. In addition to a small cottage and barn, he built a foundry, now demolished. The current foundry was built in 1909 and was in use until the 1960s. Its activities consisted of metalworking and surface treatment. The museum consists of three angular wings built together.

The products manufactured from the beginning of the 1900s until the 1960s included window screws, knobs of various types, turned candlesticks and more.Anderstorp's hometown association Link to another website can show the museum.
