Artwork: Kattfot

‘Kattfot’ (Cat’s foot) exists in several different versions and sizes, including a small one in Gummifabriken. This one in Rydaholm is carved and polished in red granite and is medium-sized at 2.7 metres high. When the large sculpture at the Sveaplan roundabout was created, they got this one ‘into the bargain’. The idea was that it would be set up in the centre of Värnamo, but it was felt that the smaller towns in the municipality needed more works of fine art and so instead it was placed outside the school in Rydaholm alongside the road. Purchased by the Municipality of Värnamo in 2009.
