The reserve is located 1.5 miles southeast of Vemdalen. From Vemdalen you drive towards Björnrike and Vemhån. Three kilometers before Vemhån, there is a gated forest road to the east, towards Västvallen and Rodovålens wind farm. Here you can leave the car and take your boots or skis. It is eight kilometers from the road to Västvallen and then one kilometer along a path to the reserve's border.

Welcome to Nybodflöten. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• destroy or damage any fixed natural object or surface formation
• damage living or dead trees and shrubs
• pick, dig up or otherwise damage mosses, lichens and fungi
• hunting, trapping or deliberately killing animals, damaging or removing eggs and nests or otherwise disturbing wildlife
• camping or making fires
• littering with tin, glass, plastic, paper or other waste
• drive a motorized vehicle without the permission of the county administrative board
• carry out scientific or other research.
