Description
The forest on the shady side of Haberget is old and damp, just as the lichens and fungi like it. The air is fresh, and the moss glows green on fallen trunks. Here the spruces do as they please. They stand and fall as they please. The forest is not just spruce. Aspen, willow and birch grow here and there, which promises good prospects for birds, wood fungi and lichens that depend on the deciduous trees growing old and dying in place. Higher up on the mountain slope, pine trees dominate, preferring to stay dry around the roots.

Directions
The reserve is located 1.5 miles south of Ytterhogdal. From the E45 road just south of Ytterhogdal, take the exit towards Kårböle. After about four kilometers you turn right onto a smaller road, which you follow for almost a mile to Aspsveden. There you turn left and after about two kilometers you reach the reserve's border.
Regulations
Welcome to Haberget. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs
- picking and collecting species of any kind except berries and edible mushrooms
- climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- make a fire, other than with firewood
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
