**Hiking trail with history

The name comes from the old Danish-Swedish border that the trail
follows. Until 1645 and the Peace of Brömsebro, Skåne and most of
Halland belonged to Denmark. Then the border here was at Älvsered. The oldest border demarcation
between Sweden and Denmark is thought to have been made around 1050.

from Sweden and six from Denmark traveled along the border and selected stones

**In the middle of nature

You will follow both roads and paths but also footbridges over
wetlands. A tip is to wear proper boots or boots. You will
hike through varied nature with large forests, streams, lakes and bogs. The paths
are easy to follow, with markings at regular intervals. There are two
shelters and a barbecue area along the way.
