Description

The trail leads through Åkersöns nature reserve, an area with many qualities. It is possible here to experience the various stages of spring in an easily accessible way. The graveled trail winds through flat terrain through the deciduous forest, past Åkerötjärnen and along the river. There are several benches to sit and rest on and to enjoy nature or one of the exciting works of art.

Along the way you pass art event sites where people with disabilities have created together with artists. This project has given its name to the trail, Se Människan. There are also signs that tell you about the nature in the area. The signs are supplemented with telephone numbers so that information can be read out in both Swedish and English.

Åkersön is easily accessible and close to many people, and the aim is for prams and wheelchairs to be able to get around easily.
