Description
Skräddartorpskärret is probably the county's most beautiful marshland. In spring and early summer, you can enjoy thousands of pink cowslips and plenty of honey flowers. Towards July, you can find marsh marigold and bunchberry here.
You can also find several rare semi-grasses that are typical of rich marshes, such as grass wool, sedge and needle-leaved sedge. If you look carefully, you can see the rarer flea and hair sedge.
Since at least the 17th century, the marsh has been used to harvest animal feed. This haymaking is an important prerequisite for the articledome. Mowing was suspended for a long time, but has been resumed since the 1980s by the Nature Conservation Society and later by the reserve management.

Directions
There is no marked path leading to Skräddartorpskärret. The easiest way is to start from the gravel road called Tjuvstigen (the road goes west of the bog and passes Karlsro, see the map). Walk from Skräddartorp along the edge of the forest to the bog.

I reservatet är det förbjudet att
- Förstöra eller skada fast naturföremål eller ytbildning genom att borra, hacka, spränga, rista, måla eller dylikt
- Framföra motordrivet fordon annat än på anvisade vägar
- Störa djurlivet (t ex genom att klättra i boträd, uppehålla sig i närheten av gryt, fånga eller döda däggdjur, fåglar, kräldjur och groddjur)
- Föra med hund, katt eller annat husdjur som ej är kopplat
- Göra upp eld annat på anvisade och iordningställda platser
- Ställa upp hus- eller släpvagn
- Rida annat än på anvisade vägar och områden
- Anordna snitslat spår eller orienteringskontroll
- Förtöja eller förankra båt längre tid än två dygn på samma plats.
Inom inre zonen (det ursprungliga naturreservatet) är det vidare förbjudet att tälta. Inom yttre zonen (det ursprungliga naturvårdsområdet) är det vidare förbjudet att sätta upp skylt, tavla, plakat, affisch eller liknande.
