Sjövikstornet

The bird tower is located at the mouth of Vingåkersån in Lake Kolsnaren. The tower has a built-in part if the weather is not the best. The place is best for bird watching in spring and fall when many birds rest here on their way south or north.

151 species have been recorded here in the last three years. These include brown harrier, bittern, osprey, reed warbler, swift, nightingale, lesser whooper swan, bar-headed goose, blackbird, common scoter, red-throated diver, bush warbler and thrush.
