Description
Övralid was the last home of the writer Verner von Heidenstam (1859-1940). The classically stylish house was built to the author's own designs on the slope above the shore of Lake Vättern. In 1925 he was able to move into the new house, which today is preserved as he left it when he died in 1940. During the summer months, Övralid is open to visitors.
