Omberg's giant oaks are found in a 16-hectare area. There are around forty centuries-old oaks. With clear felling and grazing animals, Sveaskog is recreating a grazing landscape similar to that which existed more than 150 years ago. Many unusual wood insects have been found in the area, including the rare leatherback beetle.
