Meet the pillared hall of the beech forest outside Ekoparkscenter Omberg. On a 650 m long loop you can easily get around with a wheelchair, walker and stroller. Visually impaired people can find their way with the help of a guide rope. There are two picnic areas with tables along the trail and benches on a bridge over a beautiful stream. In spring, the birdsong in the forest is magnificent. The wood anemones, lungwort and violets are also in bloom. In summer, the deep shade of the beech forest provides coolness and a strange calm. The beech forest at the Ecopark Center is "only" about 130 years old and was previously arable land for Stocklycke farm. Look out for cairns and remains of ditches that are crossed at small "bridges".
