Nya Slottet Bjärka-Säby

Nya Slottet Bjärka-Säby, with its scenic surroundings, is open all year round for those looking for peace and quiet, who want to go on a retreat, talk, conference or study. During the summer months, the Castle Café is open to the public and historical guided tours are offered.

Nya Slottet's tradition of being a spiritual and cultural center with an ecumenical profile has been continued by the Linköping Pentecostal Church, which took over the castle as a donation from the Ekman family in 1980.

The two mottoes: Pray and work. Be, not be seen. shine towards the visitor from a stained glass window in the castle café. With these as a way of life, landowner Oscar Ekman characterized life in Bjärka-Säby for half a century. During the early 1900s, an open and generous environment was created here that became life-giving for many.
