Guided Historical Walking Tour of Aspö – Stories Above and Below the Surface
Join us on a guided historical walking tour where you’ll discover Karlskrona’s great inlet, an area that has long held great strategic importance and is now part of both the Blekinge Archipelago Biosphere Reserve and the Karlskrona Naval Town World Heritage Site.
On a journey through time from the Stone Age to the present day, you’ll hear stories of kings and queens, defense and enemies, life and death.
You’ll also learn about dramatic changes to the landscape, historical events, and what life on Aspö has been like throughout the ages.
The walk takes place outdoors at a leisurely pace between Aspö Boat Club in Lökanabben and Batteri Jutudden.
A sound amplifier is used during the guided tour.
