Welcome to Äggaboden’s annual fall market, a community festival featuring food, crafts, and experiences in an authentic farm setting in the village of Gärestad.
Over the weekend, around 50 exhibitors—including producers, artisans, and artisanal food makers—will gather on the farm. Here you’ll have the chance to discover local products, chat with many of Äggaboden’s suppliers, and meet several other local businesses.
Be sure to pick up some fruit, berries, and vegetables from the farm store as the harvest season winds down. The market also features crafts, delicacies, and gifts.
Äggaboden’s restaurant is open for both lunch and coffee breaks. In the garden, pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven, and in the brewery, bread from the stone-oven bakers in Gökadal is sold.
Activities for children are organized over the weekend.
Susanne Demånes Värld will have extended hours during the fall market, October 10–11 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This will be the last time it’s open in 2026.
