Actions

Currently

The reserve has scattered infestations of spruce bark beetle. This means that there are a lot of dead standing spruces in the forest and along the paths.

The trees can fall suddenly and without warning. Keep an eye out and avoid visiting the reserve when it is windy!

Description

Prepared firewood is stored in a bin by the Sörmlandsleden trail in the north-eastern part of the Stora Envättern nature reserve. There are three additional firewood bins within the reserve and one at the parking lot by the north-western entrance.

There’s no guarantee that the bins will be stocked, so it's best to bring your own wood if possible.
