Description
With Upplevelsestråket you can get close to nature and experiences in the municipality in an easy way. The trail runs along the old waterways between Saltsjön and Mälaren, which were already used for transportation in Viking times.
The route is divided into twelve stages and has a total length of just over 40 kilometers.
The section along the Väsbyån river is the most central, easily accessible and flat part of the Experience Trail. There are also many benches for resting. From the station, you can choose to walk along Väsbyån south to experience the stormwater ponds in situ. Alternatively, walk north from the bus square to experience the Railway Park and then on to the Baroque Park in Stora Wäsby.
The experience trail is a collaborative project between Upplands Väsby municipality, associations and landowners.
