Stora Sunnkobben Nature Reserve is located in the Norrtälje outer archipelago, 13 kilometers east-southeast of Kappelskär. The easiest way to get here is by boat.

To protect the Great Sunnkobben Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.

In the reserve it is forbidden to:

1. destroy or damage fixed natural objects or surface formation
2. dig up flowers or damage the ground vegetation (grass, moss or lichen cover),
3. deliberately disturbing wildlife (e.g. by climbing trees, collecting birds' eggs or taking close-up photographs of birds' nests, burrows, caves or similar)
4. bring a dog that is not on a leash,
5. camping for more than one day without the landowner's permission
6. make a fire,
7. use a radio or TV set, gramophone, tape recorder or similar in a way that disturbs others.
