STF Arholma Bull-August gård

The hostel is located centrally along the southern village road, close to both facilities and activities. Bull-August farm has 14 rooms spread around the main building, a bakery, and a long row of outhouses. You have access to a large garden that is perfectly suited to barbecuing, a lovely place to chill or play on a summer evening. We have two well-equipped visitors’ kitchens where you can prepare food and chat with other guests. The communal facilities are located in the row of outhouses. If you want to round off your evening with a dip, we have a charming wood-fired sauna a few hundred metres from the farm.

Large parts of Arholma are in the Arholma-Idö nature reserve and are well worth a visit if you like beautiful countryside and want to encounter rich birdlife. It is truly magical to enjoy the richly flowering pastures in the spring. The autumnal colours to be found in the forests of berries and mushrooms are equally glorious.

Arholma is a region of living countryside that you can enjoy visiting all year round. It has a rural shop and there are daily trips by ferryboat from Väddö. The hostel is open all year round to give you the possibility of discovering the unique and relaxing atmosphere of the archipelago during the winter. What can be better than to go on a journey of discovery during the day and then enjoy a warming evening by the fireside?
