Description

On the northern part of the island of Södra Stavsudda lies a forested headland with rocky shores. This area forms the Södra Stavsudda Nature Reserve. Along the sides of the headland run low ridges of bedrock sloping down towards the sea, and in the centre of the headland (and the reserve) there is a deep valley, partly consisting of wetland.

On the western side of the tip of the headland there is a natural harbour with good opportunities for swimming.

There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.
