Sätraskogens naturreservat

In Sätraskogen Nature Reserve, you can walk through open meadows, oak hills and old spruce forest. The promenade that runs along the entire reserve extends from Liljeholmen to Vårberg. Here you have a nice view over Lake Mälaren towards Ekerölandet. If you are lucky, you may see goshawks or even sea eagles flying over the bay. Café Lyran and Skärholmens gård have café activities all year round. For swimming in the summer, Mälarhöjdsbadet and Sätra strandbad are located along the promenade. There you will find an outdoor gym, beach basketball court and mini golf. There is a children's trail along the area's two lighted jogging tracks, which encourages activities and discussions about nature.
