Description
In the old manor landscape by the Åland Sea, the scenery shifts between birch-covered hills, pastures, hazel groves, and coastal meadows. In spring and early summer, flowers bloom everywhere. The flora is especially rich at Kvarnudden, in the middle of the reserve.
Gunnarsmaren, in the southwest, is a botanically rich marsh with many orchids. Lillnäset has been restored, and cattle graze the area.
Along the shore in the southeastern part there are many excellent swimming spots.
This nature reserve is managed by the Archipelago Foundation. For more information about what
you can see and do here, visit the website Stockholm Archipelago | Explore Archipelago.
