Lord, your mercy reaches to heaven. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the deepest sea. Lord, you help both people and animals. Your mercy is precious, O God; in the shadow of your wings people find refuge. They may enjoy the abundance of your house, in the streams of your joy their thirst is satisfied. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. Psalms 36:6-9

**Prayer

How shall I find the depths within myself? Who dares to leave the shallow, sunny coves? Whose word do I trust? - Row out into deep water, you said. Time and again, I get a renewed opportunity to follow you into the deep. I no longer have to stand tired and resigned, sad and discouraged at the shore. I don't have to hunger for a filling catch. Lord, I want to. I want to put out into the deep. Amen. Caroline Krook
