Spiritual reflection Dawn! Christ is risen from the dead. The story of Easter morning suggests that the impossible is possible. The disciples are hiding behind locked doors after the Good Friday disaster. It is all over. Their master is dead and they themselves are persecuted. Suddenly, he stands in their midst and wishes them peace. Love conquers all! And so it is today. All over the world, people are testifying that resurrection is possible. The woman who after years finally leaves the man who beats her, the betrayed man who dares to open up to a human being again, the whole movement of Alcoholics Anonymous is proof of resurrection.

We can leave what is dead in our lives and find life anew. Even in our dark tomb, in the locked room of our hearts, Christ breaks in and greets "Peace be upon you!" The resurrection bead breathes trust. That God is boundless, near and bright. That God carries us on our short earthly journey and into eternity.
