Description

A pier with ferries to the island. From Ankarudden on the mainland, ferries operate between three harbours on Öja-Landsort—Västerhamn, Österhamn and Norrhamn—and they can stop at any one of these harbours depending on weather conditions. An information board at the crossing in the village tells you when the next ferry departs, and from which harbour.

There are toilets and potable water by the harbour. Note that drinking water is scarce on the island, so use it with care. From this harbour, you'll step right into the village, where you'll find a café and many things to see and do.

More information about Öja–Landsort is available in English at landsort.com.
