Möja Björndalens naturreservat

Möja-Björndalen Nature Reserve is an area of old forest on the island of Möja.

The reserve, located on the northern part of Möja, consists of alternating rocky pine forest, coniferous and mixed forest with intermediate marshlands. The reserve has great value for scientific nature conservation, primarily in terms of fauna. The forest gives an unaffected impression in many places. There are also some areas of young forest within the reserve.

The purpose of the reserve is to preserve and manage a forest area of value to fauna and to allow parts of the forest land to develop into natural forest.
