Description
Käringboda Nature Reserve is a well-preserved archipelago landscape featuring small fields, pastures, and coastal meadows grazed by sheep. In the northern part, you’ll find blueberry forests and several scenic viewpoints on rocky hills. A network of trails runs through the landscape.
The southern section has a more wilderness-like character—exciting to explore, but a bit more challenging to navigate. On both sides of the peninsula there are beautiful swimming beaches and sun-warmed coastal rocks.
Some of the facilities are adapted for visitors with disabilities.
This nature reserve is managed by the Archipelago Foundation. For more information about what you can see and do here, visit the website Stockholm Archipelago | Explore Archipelago.
