Description
Along the Ekerö-Munsöleden road is Husby nature reserve, which consists of part of Uppsalaåsen. The ridge slopes steeply to the east, where there are clear embankments and beach terraces along the entire side.
The northwestern part of the reserve is part of a larger area with ancient remains from the Late Iron Age. Just north of the reserve is the large mound Björn Järnsidas hög. The terrain is mostly easily accessible and the view across the water to Svartsjölandet is magnificent.
The area is owned by the state and managed by the County Administrative Board. The area is protected since 1986 and is 20 hectares and 0.6 hectares of water.
