Gillberga Nature Reserve consists of a varied spruce forest with traces of forest grazing and elements of rocky areas, swamp forests, springs, overgrown land and boulder fields.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.

Ingen anlagd parkering finns intill reservatet.

- drill, hack, blast, carve, dig, paint or in any way damage rock, soil or stone
- felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees and bushes or removing dead wood
- dig up plants such as reeds and herbs, or remove mosses, lichens or woody fungi. (Picking flowers, berries and terrestrial fungi is permitted.)
