Fiska i Mörtsjön

At Mörtsjön, Prince Eugene painted the well-known painting "Spring" in 1891, which can be seen at Waldemars udde in Stockholm. The lake is nestled in beautiful countryside north of Balingsta in the Orlången nature reserve. The lake is known for large sarvar and rudor, carp is also planted.

When you go fishing, you need a fishing license, which you can easily buy on the Sportfiskarna website, sportfiskarna.se/fiskekort via computer or mobile. Young people up to the age of 19 can pick up a free junior card and then fish freely. The fishing license is valid for 10 lakes in Huddinge. Feel free to put back any large fish caught and take home smaller food fish - this lays the foundation for continued good fishing. It is forbidden to drive a motorised boat in the lake.
