Regulations

To protect the Great Nassa Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.

In the reserve it is forbidden to

  1. during the period February 1 - August 15, land, travel or stay within the bird protection area indicated on the attached map, Appendix 1
  2. operate vessels, as defined in the Water Traffic Ordinance (1986:300), at a speed of more than 5 knots within the inner archipelago zone indicated on the attached map, Appendix 1
  3. dig, hack, drill, paint, move boulders, dam straits or otherwise damage rock, soil, stone or bottoms
  4. break branches, fell or damage living or dead trees or bushes
  5. dig up plants or algae or pick mosses or lichens
  6. bring a dog, cat or other domestic animal ashore. However, a leashed dog or other domestic animal may be brought to Bäckskäret and Stora Bonden
  7. harm or disturb wildlife (e.g. by climbing trees, catching, stalking or killing mammals, birds, reptiles or amphibians)
  8. trapping and collecting invertebrates
  9. camping - camping for a maximum of two consecutive days is allowed on Stor-Sprängskäret and Bäckskäret
  10. anchor a boat on the same beach for longer than two consecutive days
  11. light an open fire or use a grill that may damage vegetation or bedrock
  12. put up a board, poster, sign or make an inscription
  13. take off or land with an aircraft
  14. landing with more than 10 passengers. However, landing with more than 10 passengers may take place on the island Stora Bonden after consultation with the manager about the conditions for this
  15. discharge toilet waste into the sea from a pleasure boat or other vessel
  16. use a music system, musical instrument or similar in a disruptive manner
  17. use a recreational boat or other vessel in a disruptive manner within the inner archipelago zone indicated on the attached map, Appendix 1, e.g. by unnecessarily causing swell or letting the engine idle.
