Description

This is the north entrance to the Gullringskärret nature reserve. From here, you can read about the reserve on the visitor information sign and take the hiking trail into the reserve. Directions

By public transit: Take commuter trail to Västerhaninge station. Or bus to Hanveden bus stop. From either station walk appprox. 1,4 km to the northern entrance. For current rail lines and timetables, see SL public transport, sl.se.

By car: Drive on Nynäsvägen road / Route 73 and take the Jordbro exit onto Route 259. Then take Södra Jordbrovägen road towards Gullringsvägen road. There is a parking lot next to the reserve, along its border to the East.

Regulations

In order to protect the Gullringskärret nature reserve, please respect the following rules.

Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:

  1. destroy or damage permanent natural structures or surfaces by drilling, cutting, blasting, carving, painting or similar,
  2. operate motorised vehicles outside of designated roads,
  3. pick or dig up plants,
  4. disturb wildlife (e.g. by climbing nesting trees, being in close proximity to burrows, trapping or killing mammals, birds, reptiles or amphibians),
  5. bring dogs or other pets that are not on a leash,
  6. make a fire,
  7. park outside of designated parking areas or park a motorhome or caravan,
  8. ride horses off trail in the forest,
  9. set up marked trails or orienteering controls,
  10. camp.
