Description

Brunnsviken is the largest lake in the National City Park. It became a bay of the Baltic Sea when the Ålkistan canal was built in 1863–64, lowering the lake by 1.25 metres and destroying the idyllic shore landscape of Haga Park with its artificial islets and channels.
