Ruveröds Kvarn

Ruveröd's mill is located away from the main highways but still close and very accessible. Here you can easily just sit down and let the sounds and smells seep in. If you want to wander away not only in your thoughts but also in concrete terms, there is much else here within walking distance.

Natural valuesYbbarpsån flows past here on its way to Östra Sorrödssjön. At the mill, it is partly open and the sun beams down on stones, railings, shore vegetation and buildings. The water is sometimes rushing and sometimes calmer and this guarantees many species of specialized dragonflies that can otherwise be difficult to both get close to and see in the same place.

At the mill there are several signs that tell about the area's natural values as well as the mill and its history.

Information signs at the parking lot provide maps and tips on nearby attractions. Walk up the old volcano Juskushall or enjoy the wealth of meadow plants at the Räfshalen (https://skane.naturskyddsforeningen.se/rafshalen/), which is managed by the Nature Conservation Association.
