Description

Flädierev is a marine, municipal nature reserve outside Bjärred. The area is of great importance for bird life. Seals and porpoises also move in the area. Parking and access point is the same as for the nature reserve Löddeåns myning.

The Flädierev nature reserve is a shallow sea area that extends from the shore to a depth of about 9 meters. Large parts of the seabed are covered by eelgrass beds. The nature reserve is important for bird life throughout the year, especially for seabirds during resting and wintering. Lommabukten is used by gray and harbor seals and porpoises. It is likely that they also move within this nature reserve. Parking and access point is the same as for the nature reserve Löddeåns mynning (södra) Link to another website in the southernmost part.
