Arknat besökte Norrbotten – arkitektur möter natur längs Solanderleden

The internationally acclaimed architecture festival Arknat visited Norrbotten in the summer of 2026. The festival, which has garnered significant attention both nationally and internationally since its inception in 2017, brings together architecture, nature, and community development by allowing students from architecture and engineering programs to create site-specific structures within natural landscapes. Region Norrbotten hosted the festival, which this time took place along the Solander Trail between Piteå and Luleå. The students have created three fantastic and unique wind shelters along the trail that are also suitable for overnight stays.
