Description

Welcome to Kloten Nature Resort! We are surrounded by the Malingsbo-Kloten nature reserve, the largest protected non-mountain area in Sweden with its 50,000 hectares. The area is shared by Västmanland, Dalarna and Örebro counties. Our nature features undulating landscapes with expansive forests, lakes and rivers. There are some open landscapes where agriculture dominates, and here you can still hear song larks, yellow sparrows, starlings and other bird species that thrive in the open agricultural landscape.

When you arrive, you will see the main building where you will find the reception, a shop, a restaurant, a lounge and a pub. Here you have an amazing view of Långvattnet lake and the surrounding forests. Enjoy breakfast or dinner in our restaurant, gaze out over Långvattnet and plan your stay with us. Here you can hike, paddle, swim, take a sauna and make use of the hot tub by the lake, go fishing and much more. Or simply enjoy the peace and nature. Kloten Nature Resort offers plenty of activities all year, with varying degrees of difficulty. The surrounding nature features numerous hiking trails and bike paths.

Here you can choose between two types of accommodation to choose from – our solid log cabins, with all amenities, which are located next to the main building, or our glamping suites which are located in the middle of nature next to the lake Långvattnet – a nature experience beyond the ordinary.

The log cabins
Authentic accommodation with all amenities and short distance to all activities

Our log cabins are beautifully located within walking distance of the lake and the main building where you will find the reception, a shop, a restaurant, a lounge and a pub. The restaurant has an amazing view of Långvattnet lake and the surrounding forests.

There are several cottages with three to six bedrooms and a living room with sofa/sitting space and TV, shower & toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. Our nine-bed cabins are equipped with a wood-burning stove, and firewood can be purchased from us. You can choose to cook your own food in the cabin or book your breakfast and other meals in our popular restaurant.

Glamping – like a hotel suite in the middle of nature

Stay two nights in spacious glamping tents with made beds and full board in the middle of nature, right next to Långvattnet lake - a nature experience out of the ordinary!

If you have always wanted to spend more time in nature, but still want a high level of luxury and comfort, then our glamping is made for you! Imagine waking up to the sound of birds chirping in a comfortable double bed with your loved one, with the sun peering through the tent fabric as you can hear the sounds of Långvatnet just outside. Surrounded by forest and with our beautiful lake a few meters away, a secluded secret place where you can be alone with nature. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are delivered by boat to your jetty, and you also have your very own canoe that you can use to explore the nearby bays and islands.
