Natur- och stadsvandring i Henriksdal och nyckelbiotopen Trolldalen
Images
Join us for a free combined city and nature walk 500 meters south of Södermalm to learn more about the area’s architecture, Viking history, and the forest Trolldalen, which in the 19th century was a popular destination for workers and temperance advocates from Söder.
Per Anders Fogelström called it a little wilderness gem, while DN photographer Lars Epstein praises it for its magnificent views.
Here you’ll find 55 red-listed species, 150 trees of natural value (mostly pines and oaks), rare ground flora, and plenty of dead trees and fallen logs—the best insect hotels. Plus, everything you love about Swedish nature: blueberries, lily of the valley, roe deer, foxes, badgers, woodpeckers...
Meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Henriksdalsberget bus stop in Nacka.
