Description
Storsandberget is a lovely low fell with forested slopes. The summit lies just over 600 metres a s l and with his undulating moors gives a feel of bare Mountain. The slopes feature mostly spruce forest, but in the southern part of the nature reserve there is pure pine forest, with some trees aged between 300 and 400 years. The area is 3 square kilometres in size.

Storsandberget lies about 13 kilometres northwest of Glommersträsk. Turn northwards off road 518 just under two kilometres east of Södra Sandträsk. Then turn heading westwards on to a logging road after about 2.5 kilometres. You can then get as far as the south part of the reserve. The logging road is uneven and requires a car that is higher than average.
