Description

Stora Njakajaure Nature Reserve is located in a low-lying part of the landscape, surrounded by mountains and low fells. Here, there is a mosaic of forest areas, marshes, and small lakes, as well as block fields where only lichens manage to grow. The nature reserve is located just under 20 kilometers southeast of Arjeplog and is easiest accessed via Route 95. From Route 95, a private road heads west about 3 km south of Lake Östra Radnejaure. After approximately 4.5 km, you will reach Stora Njakajaure Nature Reserve, having first passed the Granberget reserve.
