Description

Skags-Furuholmen is an island covered in coniferous forest which rises to no more than 15 metres a s l. The forest consists above all of pine, but to some extent also spruce. The reserve also includes the islands of Skagsgrundet and Furuholmsgrundet. The area is 0.6 square kilometres in size and there is a ban on snowmobiling on the islands. There are also special regulations for hunting, see the reserve designation.
