The reserve lies about 10 kilometres west of the village Kitkiöjoki. Drive along road 99, turn off in Kitkiöjoki onto a small road which leads west. Follow the road through the nature reserve Anokangas about 10 kilometres and then turn northwards and follow the road for a further 3 kilometres as far as the nature reserve.

Follow the road through Anokangas Nature Reserve for about 10 kilometers, then turn north and follow the road for another 3 kilometers to the nature reserve.
