Description

The old-growth mountain forest reserve Luottåive comprises both mires and the mountain itself, whose summit reaches 603 metres a.s.l. On the wetland islands, primary mixed coniferous grows. In the spruce forest on the mountain there are large quantities of hanging lichen on the trees, and here and there old-growth willow and aspen can be seen. The area is 22 square kilometres in size.
