Karsberget is a hilly, varying area of coniferous forest. The pristine forest has been impacted by forest fires. Here you find trees up to 450 years old. The reserve extends from the Råne river, on towards the northeast and up to the 353-metre Karsberget mountain and across the mire called Kvigmyran. The area is 2.4 square kilometres in size.
